The full paper submission format for the FARU Journal and the FARU Annual Conference is the same. The paper should be prepared according to the FARU full paper template. Authors have 3 publishing opportunities:
Opens from January – March via an open call. It is published in June each year. Papers should be submitted using Sri Lanka Journals Online (sljol) platform, https://faruj.sljol.info/
Open from April – June via the FARU Annual Conference. It is published in December. Only the highly ranked accepted papers of the annual conference get selected for this publication. Papers should be submitted by email to faru@uom.lk with subject ‘Full paper submission’.

The full paper should contain completed research, the description of your study and should be structured in different sections such as: Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, Acknowledgements (if applicable) and References. The paper should be prepared according to the FARU full paper template and limited to 10-12 pages including figures, tables and references (papers exceeding this page number will be rejected). If the paper is selected after the review process, the author is expected to revise the paper according to comments by the reviewers and submit the print-ready paper.
The initial review process takes nearly two months and the authors are notified of the final comment together with reviewer comments. The details of the FARU Review process is found here.
Authors submitting full papers to the FARU Annual conference is eligible to apply for the FARU Awards by submitting the FARU Awards Submission form before the deadline.

Presentation Guide
The time duration and the options of presentation is as follows: In-person for 10 minutes with 5 minutes of question time Or
Virtually via Zoom for 10 minutes with 5 minutes of question time Or Submit pre-recorded presentations for 10 minutes with 5 minutes of question time.
Authors submitting full papers to the FARU Annual conference are eligible to apply for the FARU Awards. To proceed, the author must fill the FARU Awards Submission Form and email to faru@uom.lk with the subject ‘FARU Awards Submission Form’. All winners will be awarded with a certificate at the award ceremony of the FARU Annual Conference. Submission forms must reach before the stated deadline (important dates).
